• Points are only awarded to fencers who reach the direct-elimination stage, where the competition format uses one.

• Competition format differences (with/without repêchage, round robin, etc.) are not taken into account.

• Pre-registration for foreign (non-championship) competitions must be made at least 30 days before the competition date — timely pre-registration is a prerequisite for selection and final entry.

• The exact results-inclusion window isn't confirmed — checking 25/26 season data showed some results over 12 months old still fully counted, so it's not a simple 12-month rolling window. This app's Selection Schemes currently filter by season; verify totals against the federation's official rules once the window is confirmed.
