Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

FencerPath is a product of NiSports Scandinavia AB ("we", "us", "our"), based in Sweden. FencerPath helps competitive fencing families and clubs track rankings, competitions, registration deadlines and qualification paths.

2. What we collect

When you create a FencerPath account, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Profile information for the fencer(s) you manage, including name, date of birth, weapon(s), age category and club
• Competition results, rankings and registration data you add or that we pull from official federation sources
• Basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to help us improve the product

If you're a parent or guardian creating a profile for a child under 18, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and that you consent to this policy on their behalf.

3. How we use your data

• To provide the core FencerPath service — tracking rankings, deadlines and qualification paths
• To power the AI Coach feature, which analyzes your own results and rankings to offer guidance (see Section 6)
• To send you service-related emails, such as deadline alerts or account notifications
• To improve FencerPath based on how it's actually used, especially during the beta

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Where your data comes from

Some data — such as rankings and competition results — is pulled directly from official federation and organizer sources (e.g. FIE, EFC, national federations). We don't calculate our own numbers; we mirror what's published officially.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to your account. We use standard industry practices for a modern SaaS product, though as with any beta service, some features and safeguards are still evolving.

6. AI Coach

AI Coach (beta) analyzes your own results and rankings to help you weigh a competition's impact on your score and qualification path. It does not make decisions for you, and its guidance becomes more accurate as more data accumulates. We do not use your data to train models for other users.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing us at info@nisports.se. If you're in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure and data portability.

8. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep it for legal reasons.

9. Cookies

FencerPath uses only essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and remember basic preferences. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

As FencerPath moves out of beta, this policy may be updated. We'll notify active users of significant changes by email before they take effect.
